As a kid, I never ate asparagus, rocket, balsamic vinegar, pinenuts, squash, and many other foods because Mum didn’t serve them. I loved her food, but it was a narrow variety. I’m now eating a wider range of foods and introducing new foods, almost every week.

 

 

Expanding your choices for more flavours and choice


Adding new fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and combinations to your eating Plan is a way to keep your motivation just as fresh as your food choices.

 

This week when you go to the supermarket, say to yourself, “I’m going to try something new”. Don’t worry about cooking the perfect cuisine, just jump in and have a go at experiencing a new flavour, taste or mouth feel.

 

You may surprise yourself at how much you like new tastes and wonder why you have been missing out. It all helps keep your Plan on Target!
